Kharis means ‘undeserved kindness’ in Greek. I believe in capturing those moments of undeserved kindness in your life. Let’s get together and laugh like old friends. Oh yeah, I’ll bring my camera.
When I was little I used to set up my stuff animals for photoshoots. Then when I was in middle school I became very skilled in the art of persuasion and convinced my sister to ‘model’ for me in the harsh 3 p.m. sunlight with whatever point and shoot camera my family owned. In college, I kept pretending I was a photographer using a camera or a cell phone and the PicMonkey App that was incredibly popular at the time. Finally, at age 23 I decided I would buy a real camera and told the Lord “I’ll just see where You take this.” He blessed me beyond measure and in 2014 two friends approached me about shooting their wedding. At the time, I didn’t even know what color I wanted my hair to be much less if I wanted to pursue wedding photography but I said “sure why not!” And I’m so glad I did. After 1 wedding in 2014, in 2015 I somehow managed to book 13. In 2016, I made the jump into full time photography and can’t imagine doing anything else. As they say in Princess Diaries, “miracles happen once in awhile if you believe.” 😉 The Lord is so good. Okay, okay enough about me, let’s talk about you.
